Wendler Bench Week 2 cycle 3/Push Day

Woke up this morning fairly easily considering I had work at 9 and needed to be up by 6:30 to get my workout in. I'm curious to see how today's lifts go. I have high hopes.

Warm up: 15 min of elliptical.

Bench Press
Last set 6 reps

DC 4-3-3

Overhead Press

5 on last set

DC 3-3-2

Bryan Wilcox insisted on coming in during my second set of DC and implored my help on figuring out a song in hot tub time machine. I did the best I could but was unsuccessful.

Incline Dumbbell Bench
65lbs each hand
5x5
I took the Last set till partial failure. I got 8 clean reps. I'm going to stick with this lift for a bit, its less taxing, but I can grow with it at least. I'm not sure if I'm going to increase reps or weight next week...I want to increase weight...so I'll probably do that.

Dips
Body weight + 60lbs
5x5

I don't mean to brag, but I'm kind of a big deal when it comes to dips.

Skull Crushers
70lbs
5x12

These were hard today. The last two sets were ugly, but I completed them without setting the weight down. Strength gaaaainnnz.

Chest Flys
50lbs each hand
3x13

Today's diagnosis: Pumpatosis...is it terminal? Alright, that's a bit morbid.

15 mins on the stair master.

During today's workout I was listening to the rest of the Amy Poehler/Paul F. Tompkins episode of Comedy Bang Bang. They had a free style rap battle about butter. Amazing.
