Wendler Cycle 4 week 3/Squats

Weighed 200.2 this morning. Really small. Almost too small for the task awaiting me that day.



I was supposed to do a bench workout, but my forearm is swollen from basketball last night. Giving it another day of recovery.

Warm Up: 15 min of elliptical.

Back squats

Check out that parallel depth. Respect it.
I was very proud of the 5 I got. I might have been able to crank out 1 more, but this was good enough for today considering how light I was and my injury was buggin me mentally. 

Front squats

These felt like shit, but what can you do? Hard from the first rep. My body was taxed from the heavy lifting earlier and this was just a rebound.

Stiff-legged deadlifts

These surprisingly didn't hurt as bad as I thought. I used a thumb-less grip, so that helped quite a bit.

I've got that off day, post basketball leanness goin on today.


I don't like working around injuries. Frankly, it pisses me off that I can have weakness in my body. But, thus is life, and you gotta work with what you got.
